Language Of Love

The walkway is so beautiful after rain, especially at night. I need to go home. It's been 7 days since I left for film work. I had three bags with me. One packed with my camera and its accessories, another one with my clothes and laptop, and the last one with the tripod. I knew I looked hideous with all these bags, plus 7 days of work under the sun and the cap. No one will look at my face for more than 3 sec. But who cares!!

All I want is to reach home and have a tight nap. I pushed myself up from the bench and started walking towards the bus stop. The rain is almost over. I really hate these heavy bags but I have to carry them.

The yellow street light made the walkway like a way to heaven and the breeze from the lake slightly kissed my cheeks.  As I strolled to the bus stop, my eyes caught a girl wearing a hijab, throwing something into the lake. I stopped walking and started looking at her. She picked a box, a huge one, and threw that too into the lake.

Now I was curious. With so many thoughts running through my mind, I moved towards her, and all of a sudden, she looked at me. I wanted to ask her something but I went completely blank. I couldn't notice anything but her eyes that held her heart. I could read from them that she had cried a lot, is very tired, and needs some sleep. Traces of tears were there in her cheeks as they messed with her mascara. Before I could pull myself together, she shot an angry look at me, stomped her feet, and walked away. I couldn’t understand anything except the fact that she is not ok.

Whatever. I decided to continue with my walk towards the bus stop. As I took a step, I noticed something shining near my feet. A ring. She may have dropped it unknowingly. I took that ring and rushed behind the girl. She also had luggage like me, but only one huge bag.
